The Topnotch Resort at Stowe to Sponsor An Evening With Spalding Gray

Dorset, VT - Spalding Gray, a writer, actor, and performer will visit Dorset, Vermont for a one-night event at the historic Dorset Playhouse on Saturday November 30, 2002 to benefit Clear Path International and The United Nations Association’s Adopt-A-Minefield. The two organizations work together to address the deadly legacy of landmines in Southeast Asian war zones.
While Gray is best known for his classic monologue Swimming to Cambodia which was also a best selling book and movie, he is also credited with film roles in big screen hits such as The Killing Fields, Beaches and Beyond Rangoon.
Gray’s most recent monologue Morning, Noon and Night was published by Ferrar, Strauss & Giroux and opened at Lincoln Center in 1999.
Clear Path International is a 501 C 3 nonprofit dedicated to serving landmine accident survivors, their families and their communities in Southeast Asia. It has projects in Vietnam, Cambodia and on the Thai-Burma border.
