New Clear Path Video Features NPR's Corey Flintoff and the Grateful Dead's Mickey Hart
Dorset, VT – A 6.5-minute video showing the everyday impact of mines and unexploded bombs in Southeast Asia and Clear Path’s efforts to support mine-affected communities is now available for viewing online and in VHS format. The piece, filmed in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, was narrated by National Public Radio’s Corey Flintoff and includes music by Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart.
Filmed by Cabot Orton and Imbert Matthee, this piece is over a year and a half in the making showing footage from all of Clear Path's project sites.
"This video helps to put a face on the people our supporters have been reading about for the past two and a half years." said co-founder James Hathaway "Viewing this footage for the first time sent chills up my spine as it so clearly shows CPI's positive impact on the lives of real people."

According to Hathaway, Mickey Hart and Corey Flintoff volunteered their talents quickly when they learned of the project.
"Being a long-time Grateful Dead fan, and familiar with Mickey's work for the Apocalypse Now soundtrack, he was my first choice for the music on this video. His work is incredibly moving.
"When it came to finding a voice that everyone feels they know and trust implicitly, Corey Flintoff was a no-brainer. I drive 45 minutes to work every day and NPR is with me constantly. When we needed a voice, he was our first choice. And he did the whole piece in just about one take... a true professional!
"We are incredibly fortunate that both of these enormously talented men agreed to help us so quickly. They were both so enthusiastic about what we do and eager to help that we we were able to finish the video well ahead of schedule!"
