Manchester, VT-Vermont photographer James Schriebl traveled last year to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia to document the work of Clear Path International and the culture of Southeast Asia. His work will be on display at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, VT from November 1st to December 1st.

James Schriebl shoots an eclectic range of subjects and events, from World Cup ski races to rock concerts by the band Phish, and has been published in magazines like SKI and Skiing. He recently traveled to Southeast Asia to document the efforts of Clear Path International, which provides aid and assistance to victims of landmine accidents. "My photographs try to capture the beauty, depth, and diversity of the people and cultures that I encounter," says Schriebl, "as well as the complexity, contradictions and hardships of their histories, still reflected in their present lives and situations."
