Clear Path Approved As Charity In Government Employees Fund Drives
SEATTLE – Clear Path International has been approved as a charity in this fall’s Combined Federal Campaign of King County and in the Washington State Combined Fund Drive (CFD) in which thousands of government employees participate.
Each fall, city, state and federal employees are encouraged to donate or make pledges to domestic and international charities. The CFC of King County and the state’s CFD are among the largest in the Pacific Northwest.
In the state CFD, Clear Path will be marketed to 100,000 state employees and 200,000 retired public employees. In the CFC of King County, giving to Clear Path will be an option for nearly 20,000 federal employees. The campaigns run from September to December.
Charities that want to receive funds generated by the campaigns are required to submit to a substantial review of their financial and governance practices prior to acceptance. Clear Path’s participation means the organization meets some of the nonprofit community’s highest standards for accountability.
Clear Path has been designated a code in the campaigns’ promotional materials: for the Washington State CFD, the code is 350000. For the CFC of King County, CPI’s designation is 9036.
