Dr. Frank Cobarrubia
Medical Advisor
Dr. Frank Cobarrubia, a native of California, has been a Clear Path International advisor since its inception. His career spans seven years of foot and ankle care in Washington state and Florida.
Cobarrubia has had a career-long interest in helping victims of landmine or
uxo (unexploded ordnance) accidents and is applying his skills as a foot surgeon
to volunteer in war-torn regions of Southeast Asia. He works under a partnership
between Clear Path International and the Vietnam Medical Project in San Jose,
Calif. Before he began his most recent health care business inOregon, Cobarrubia
had a practice in Everett, Wash., and worked as podiatric physician for clinics
in Lacey and Everett. He began his medical career as a resident podiatric surgeon
and traumatology resident at the Golden Glades Medical Center in Miami, Florida.
In 1988, Cobarrubia earned a Bachelor's of Arts and Health Sciences from San
Diego State University. In 1993, he graduated as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He advises
Clear Path International on its victim assistance programs, procures donated
medical supplies and helps bring awareness to the plight of landmine victims.
