Cameron Seward

General Counsel & Director of Operations

Seward has spent his career in the legal and public policy arena. After joining the Heritage Foundation in 2012, he oversaw and executed briefings on specific issues, policy working groups and retreats for members and staff, while regularly appearing on national radio and television programs. He later served as the Chief of Staff to Heritage President Jim DeMint.

Prior to joining the Conservative Partnership Institute, Seward served in the Trump administration as the Director for Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Engagement in the Office of the United States Trade Representative.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in international business and Spanish from Xavier University and a juris doctor degree from the John Marshall Law School. He is admitted to the bar in Illinois and Washington, D.C.

He and his wife, Angie, and their son James, currently reside in Alexandria, Va.
