In a recent Senate Judiciary hearing, former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli of the Election Transparency Project of the American Principles Project and the Susan B. Anthony List lays out in painful detail the true racist and suppressive past of Jim Crow laws, created and perpetuated by Democrats. Since the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965, these abusive practices against Black Americans are gone, and Black voting and registration have skyrocketed.
