An election official’s duty and responsibility is to ensure compliance with state election laws, administer the elections in a fair and unbiased manner, and maintain accurate voter rolls. Election officials are not to assist with partisan get-out-the-vote efforts, and certainly not to accept grants from private donors that steer the use of funds to liberal organizations and staffers. Unfortunately, in Wisconsin and elsewhere in 2020, that was not the case. In Wisconsin, it is becoming clear that billionaire Mark Zuckerberg’s contributions to liberal voting organizations spent multi-million dollars to turn Wisconsin election offices into partisan, Democrat “get-out-the-vote” operations in 2020, and changed the outcome of that state’s presidential election results.
